Check-ins are the primary way your class tracks attendance and financial progress throughout Financial Peace University.
How Check-Ins Work
Each week, members update their progress by completing a check-in.
They can:
- Mark attendance
- Track progress like:
- Debt paid
- Money saved
- Credit cards cut
Members should complete a check-in at least once per week to keep Financial Transformation accurate and build strong financial accountability week over week.
How Members Complete Check-Ins
Members can check in in a few ways:
- Log in at fpu.com/member
- Use a secure link sent via email
- Scan the Check-In QR code from your dashboard
- You can find the Check-In QR code by opening your class, then selecting the Check-Ins tab.
The email and QR code options make it easy for members to update progress without logging in.
What You See as a Coordinator
Check-In data is displayed in your dashboard.
You'll see:
- Attendance (reported by members or updated by you)
- Overall financial progress for your class
Data updates as members submit their check-ins, so progress builds over time. Member data is self-reported and designed to stay private and accurate.
Managing Attendance and Data
You can:
- Mark or update attendance in the Attendance tab inside your current class
- Add financial data manually for members who don't use check-ins
You cannot:
- Edit financial data submitted by members
Member data is self-entered. It is confidential and trustworthy.
Best Practices
- Remind your class to check in each week
- Use dashboard tools (email or QR code) to make it easy
- Focus on consistency - progress tracking improves over time
