You can create and manage your Financial Peace University (FPU) classes directly from your Impact Dashboard - including assigning or updating the class Coordinator.
This guide walks you through:
- Creating a new class
- Assigning a Coordinator
- Changing a Coordinator later
Who can do this?
Only users with the right Impact Dashboard permissions can create classes and manage Coordinators. This usually includes the organization’s admin or the person managing the class inside the Impact Dashboard.
Create a Class
Steps:
- Go to the My Classes tab in your Impact Dashboard
- Click Create a Class (top right of the page)
- Enter the required class details:
- Dates and times
- Class format (in-person or virtual)
- Any additional settings
- Complete the setup
By default, the person creating the class will be listed as the Coordinator until you change it.
Assign or Change a Coordinator
You can update the coordinator at any time.
Steps:
- Go to the My Classes tab in your Impact Dashboard
- Select the class you want to update
- Open the Overview tab
- Click Change Coordinator
- Enter the new coordinator's email address
- Click Invite Coordinator to save
What happens next:
- If they already have an account associated with Ramsey Solutions, they'll be assigned immediately
- If not, they'll receive an email invite to create their account
- They'll have 5 days to complete setup before the link expires. If the link expires, they can still activate their account by going to financialpeace.com and resetting their password. Once they reset their password, they will automatically be assigned as a coordinator for the class.
Remove a Co-Coordinator
You can update the Coordinator at any time. There are two ways to remove a Co-Coordinator from a class.
Option 1: Co-Coordinator card
Steps:
- Go to the My Classes tab in your Impact Dashboard
- Select the class you want to update
- Open the Overview tab
- Find the Co-Coordinator card
- Choose the option to remove them
- Confirm the change
Option 2: Three-dot menu (...) on the roster
- Go to the My Classes tab in your Impact Dashboard
- Select the class you want to update
- Open the roster
- Find the person you want to update
- Click the 3-dot menu next to their name
- Choose the option to remove their Co-Coordinator access
- Confirm the change
What the removed person loses access to
When someone is removed as a Co-Coordinator, they lose Co-Coordinator access for that class. This means they can no longer help manage the class, class details, class members, or other Coordinator-level tools tied to that class.
Do they keep class member access?
Yes. Removing someone as a Co-Coordinator does not automatically remove them as a class member. They can still access the class as a member unless they are also removed from the roster.
Can this be reversed?
Yes, but it depends on what you need to restore.
If they are still a class member, you can promote them back to Co-Coordinator from the roster.
If they are no longer connected to the class, you’ll need to invite them again.
Helpful Tips
Use the correct email
Always confirm the Coordinator's preferred email before sending the invite to avoid login issues later.
You can change Coordinators at any time.
There's no limit - you can update this as roles change or classes shift.
"Coordinator Pending" status
Until the new Coordinator accepts the invite, they will show as pending in the system.
