Churches have been at the forefront of spreading the message of hope through Financial Peace University. FPU teaches people how to handle money using biblical principles, and for over 30 years, churches have used it to create real-life change in their communities.
Your church can be a part of this impact by offering FPU.
Three Ways to Offer FPU
1. Have Members Purchase Their Own Access
You can set up a class and have participants register on their own. In this model, each person purchases their own membership at retail price. Group discounts do not apply.
2. Purchase a Membership Bundle
Many churches choose to purchase a bundle (starting at 10), which unlocks group discounts and gives you more flexibility.
Instead of each person paying full price, your church can pass along the discounted rate or choose to cover part of the cost. This is often treated as a pass-through budget item in which the church purchases the memberships upfront, and families reimburse the church in full or in part.
This approach also makes it easy to offer scholarships. Some churches reduce the price for everyone, while others fully or partially sponsor specific families. The goal is to remove financial barriers so that anyone who wants to participate can.
3. Purchase a Site License
If your church is planning to offer FPU on a larger scale or as an ongoing ministry, a site license may be the best fit. FPU is most impactful as a ministry tool.
This allows you to provide access more broadly across your congregation and is ideal for churches running multiple classes or focusing on long-term financial discipleship.
